The interfaces with transition or buffer layers impede the warmth flow with the unit channel and enormously influence the product overall performance. On this review, we summarize the three distinct procedures to realize the GaN-on-diamond wafers with the fabrication of AlGaN/GaN HEMTs. The issues and challenges of each approach are discussed. Furt
